| Cutting and programming is required for this remote head key to work for your vehicle. Cutting can be done at a professional automotive locksmith. If you cannot find a locksmith, you can take it to the dealership instead. Printed programming instructions will be sent with every key. You are able to use these instructions if you have 2 existing keys that will start the vehicle. They do not need to have the remote head to qualify as 2 keys. The keyless entry remote part of this transponder key will automatically be programmed when the transponder chip is programmed with the instructions. If you do not have 2 working keys for your vehicle, the automotive locksmith or dealership that cuts the transponder key for you will also be able to program it using special equipment. |
